I'm a Major Geek!

Yes, it's true. I'm a geek. Band nerd, computer geek, trivia geek, book reader geek, but not a gamer/anime/con geek. I took the test and got a 38.8502%: Major Geek. Take the test here:

thanks to my dd.

I'm back...

Yes, I know, it's been forever. But has anyone really missed me? I think not.

Camp has been keeping me busy, and now it's over. Time to move on to the "Next Big Thing". But before that, here's a few pictures of my experience at a camp under construction.

Here we are washing our hair. This way was so much nicer than sticking your head under the timed 5 minutes of cold shower. I need time to rinse all the water out!

Miss Sara trying out the tyrolean zip line.

Repelling down a 35 footer. There was also a 40 foot and 50 foot cliff.

We had a fun monkey bridge. It took grace to cross this.

The main zip line was really cool. But alas, the line was was too long for me. I love zip lines! Maybe next time I'll have a turn at it.

Here's my niece sitting on top of the waterfall. She either very brave or very dumb, and obviously has no balance issues!

A Beautiful sunset I caught on "film" on the last night. Our theme was "Shine Like the Son" so I tried to get some cool sun shots. I didn't make it up for the sunrise!

So, life was fun at camp. Cold showers, portapotties, unfinished cabins. But the weather was perfect! No rain! No mud! Lots of dirt. I'm glad I got to go. The sad thing was I lost a 256 mb CF card with over a hundred camp pictures on it. I was the camp photographer and was taking lots of photos. I'm supposed to make a slide show and now I'm missing some important camp photos... like the row of 20 blue portapotties!

So now, as I said before, time to move on to... Italy!!! France!!! Switzerland, Austria and Germany!!! I'm packing my bags... ciao!
